Youth Group

Youth Group

Youth group offers high school students a fun and healthy place to learn more about Christ and how to live for Him in all they do. It's a place to have fun with friends. At our regular meetings we have a discussion time and lots of games, snacks and socializing.

How do I join Youth group?

If you are interested in joining Youth group, email our office administrator at and we will connect you with our youth leaders.

Youth at BFCRC:
The BFCRC Youth Group meets on Tuesday nights from 7-9 pm and is open to Highschool students.  This year we once again partner  with Calvin CRC and Pastor Ron Hosmar.  We have approximately 30 students in the group.
The weekly meetings are broken down into 4 events
1) Discussion night:  “Sticky Faith” which address tough topics like “Can I trust the Bible when it contradicts itself?”, “What does the Bible say about women”, “Addiction”, ‘Abuse”, “Homosexuality” and “Pornography”
2) Mission opportunity:   food bank, retirement home visits, other community work
3) Other:  prayer walk, spiritual gifts and lots of games
4) Mentor Night:   Mentors and mentees spend the evening together doing something they have a common interest in - like baking, going for coffee, working out at the gym, jamming with guitars etc. which serves as a backdrop for conversation and interaction.  The youth will have their mentor all through high school and they will be supported and loved by those people to whom they are very special.  The one on one attention is so important as the youth navigate through the often anxious and difficult teenage years.  Those relationships are cross generational in our church and often continue past high school.  It is a way to connect youth that often leave our church to go away to school or move for jobs to our church community and encourage them to stay connected to the church
Youth Group is a safe place to ask any questions they youth have.  They socialize with other youths in a program that is Christ Driven.  It provides opportunity for growth, fun and connecting to community and God.  They go camping and on youth conferences, they lead church service and mission trips.  An amazing program!
